In 2008, the Brightwater Group were voted in The Top 10 Best Companies to Work for in Ireland. This was the first year that Brightwater Group was included in the category 100 - 250 employees. These awards are particularly special as the organisations who enter are evaluated using an employee survey and questionnaire.

In 2007, the Brightwater Group were delighted to be The Best Company (50-100 employees) to Work for in Ireland. The Brightwater Group, along with one other, were the only two companies to be voted in the Top Ten Companies to Work for in Ireland for three years in a row.

In 2006, the Brightwater Group were once again the only recruitment company to be placed among the Top 10 Best Companies to Work for in Ireland. We also won the "Credibility Award", an award we as a recruitment company are particularly proud of. We have also been placed yet again into the European Top 100 Companies to Work For.

In 2005, the Brightwater Group were voted by their own staff to be the Best Company (50-100 Employees) to Work for in Ireland. We were also voted into the Top 100 companies to Work for in Europe.  Within the Industry, the Group were the only recruitment company in Ireland to have received such accolades (in 2004, 2005, and 2006).  We believe that it is a balanced circle that has provided happiness and success for so many people. If management treat the staff well, the staff will treat the customers well, who in turn will treat the company well.  Everyone wins!

Many of the companies that have won these special awards have been very 'nice companies'.  We are a nice company too, but that doesn't mean we are soft.  We work in a tough, competitive, aggressive field, and the staff we employ are dynamic and competitive individuals. They want to be given direction, opportunity, targets and pressure. They also want to be given respect, fairness and consideration.

Set up in 2005, Brightwater Support has enjoyed fantastic success with achieving sales of €1.5m in its first years trading (Group Sales the same year were €17.5m).  We have a huge opportunity to take this business into many locations and sectors in Ireland – this is just the beginning!
